    Great Post!

    It would be also great to have some top list like this about plugins for some free or cheaper Image programs, as not everybody can afford PhotoShop.

    usually photoshop compatible plugins work with other image editors…
    As for price, Photoshop Elements is the best choice ;)

    about Akvis - I prefer their plugin Sketch that allows to create amazing pencil drawings
