Top 10 audio converters

Sound studioMP3, AAC, WMA, WAV, Ogg….the list of audio formats is endless. Every now and then though, you’ll need to convert your track to another format, just to be able to play it on such or such MP3 player.

Good list, if you don’t care so much about the quality of your rips…

I agree with Jay on this one…Maybe it’s just me, but on the top of this list should have been Tunebite, as No. 1 converter. Maybe the editor will take a look at that too.

Thanks for your comments. As you do state, Tunebite is an excellent application. We didn’t include it in the list simply because we consider it more of a recorder than an audio converter. For the other programs we’ve felt that they do a good job at converting from one audio format to another. More importantly, we tried to include the ones that had been downloaded most by Softonic users, to reflect what they think are good converters.

Don’t hesitate to suggest other software that you think we might have missed out.
